Privacy policy
Your information,
handled with care.
Effective September 3, 2026 · Alexandra & Co. Inc. DBA Alexandra Build Co. (“Alexandra Build Co.,” “we,” “us”)
This policy describes what information we collect through alexandrabuild.co, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple on purpose: we collect what we need to respond to you and run our projects well, and we do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
When you submit our consultation or remodel-guide forms, we collect what you provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the details you share about your project. If you check the SMS consent box, we record that consent along with your submission.
If you contact us directly by phone, text, or email, we keep the correspondence and contact details you share so we can respond and keep an accurate record of your inquiry.
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs basic technical information about visits (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability.
Analytics, advertising measurement and cookies
With your permission, Vercel Web Analytics measures page visits on our public marketing pages. We remove query strings and fragments before those page addresses are sent, and we do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, project descriptions, SMS consent or placement results through this integration.
With your permission, our public marketing pages also use Google Analytics to measure visits, navigation and successfully submitted consultation requests. Google receives page paths, non-personal campaign labels, browser and device information, cookie identifiers and technical information associated with the connection. Our analytics event code does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, project descriptions, SMS consent or placement results. We omit arbitrary URL query strings and fragments from the page addresses we send. Google advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in this integration.
With your permission, our public marketing pages use the Meta Pixel to measure page views and successfully submitted consultation requests, and help attribute those actions to Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta can receive page addresses and referrers, event times, an opaque event identifier, advertising and browser identifiers, and technical information such as your IP address and browser information. Meta may associate these events with your Meta account and use them under its policies. Our Meta event code does not supply names, email addresses, phone numbers, project descriptions, SMS consent or placement results. We do not enable advanced contact matching in this implementation, and automatic event detection is disabled.
With your permission, our public marketing pages use the OpenAI advertising pixel and server-side Conversions API to understand which ads lead to consultation requests. Both channels use the same opaque conversion event identifier so OpenAI can discard duplicate reports. We send the canonical landing-page address, event time, and the OpenAI-provided ad-click reference when it is available. Our server-side event does not include your readable name, email address, phone number, project description, or SMS consent.
When automatic contact matching is enabled for our pixel, it can detect supported contact information you enter on these pages, such as your name, email address or phone number. The pixel normalizes these details and converts them to SHA-256 hashes in your browser before sending them with conversion events to OpenAI. These hashes help match a consultation request to an ad interaction, including when a click identifier is unavailable. Hashes are not anonymous: they can be matched against corresponding identifiers. Readable contact details are not sent through this matching feature. Our measurement code does not supply project descriptions or SMS consent to the pixel, and we mark our conversion events to opt out of future user-level personalization.
Optional analytics and advertising measurement are off until you choose “Allow measurement.” You can decline without affecting the forms or other website features, and change your choice through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. We remember your choice for up to 180 days and respect the Global Privacy Control signal. Withdrawing permission stops future measurement; it does not recall events already sent. These measurement tools are not installed on our placement-assessment or Alex AI pages. If the scope of this permission changes, we ask again.
How we use it
When we send a project-feedback link, we collect the rating, comments, and follow-up preference you choose to submit. This feedback is stored privately for our team to improve service and respond to concerns. After submission, every customer is offered the same optional link to write a separate Google review; we cannot post or edit that public review for you.
For team placement assessments, completed profiles are automatically shared with our private Alex AI dashboard after the participant acknowledges sharing. Draft answers stay in the browser. See the Alex AI Privacy Policy for the information collected, internal AI use, and your choices.
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, schedule and prepare for consultations, deliver the remodel guide you requested, communicate about your project, and maintain our business records. We may also use it to comply with legal obligations that apply to a licensed construction business.
SMS and mobile consent
No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates. SMS consent is optional, is never a condition of purchase or service, and can be revoked at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Full messaging terms are in our SMS Terms of Service.
When we share information
We share information with the service providers that make this site and our communication work — such as our website hosting provider and our email delivery provider — and, when you allow optional measurement, with Google, Meta and OpenAI as described above. OpenAI advertising permission can include hashed contact identifiers; it is not permission to send you text messages. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights. We do not sell contact lists, and we never share SMS opt-in or text-message consent for marketing by others.
Retention
We keep inquiry and project records for as long as they are useful to serve you and as long as construction-business recordkeeping and legal obligations require. If you would like your inquiry information deleted, ask us — unless we are required to keep it, we will delete it.
Your choices
You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion. You can withdraw SMS consent by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email or by contacting us.
Children
Our site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
